To check network settings for a specific Nortel SNAS 4050, access the Cluster
Host menu by typing the following commands:
To check general network settings related to the cluster to which you have
connected, enter the following command:
The screen output provides information about the MIP, DNS servers, Nortel
SNAS 4050 hosts in the cluster, syslog servers, and NTP servers.
To check if the Nortel SNAS 4050 is getting network traffic, enter the following

The screen output provides information about currently active request sessions,
total completed request sessions, and SSL statistics for configured virtual SSL
servers.
To check statistics for the local Ethernet network interface card, enter the
following command:
The screen output provides information about the total number of received and
transmitted packets, the number of errors when receiving and transmitting
packets, and the type of error (such as dropped packets, overrun packets,
malformed packets, packet collisions, and lack of carrier).
To check if a virtual server (on the Nortel SNAS 4050) is working, enter the
following command at any menu prompt:
