Backing up or restoring the configuration using the CLI
To save the system configuration to a file on a file exchange server, use the
following command:
/cfg/ptcfg <protocol> <server> <filename> <passphrase>
To restore the system configuration, use the following command:
/cfg/gtcfg <protocol> <server> <filename> <passphrase>
You can also dump the system configuration to the screen and then use
copy-and-paste to save it to a text file. To perform a configuration dump, use the
following command:
/cfg/dump [<passphrase>]
