exception backup

This command allows the administrator to define backup FTP servers for the

Contivity VPN Switch. A backup FTP server receives a copy of the LDAP

database, configuration file, and other system files that have changed since the last

backup. A switch supports up to three backup FTP servers.

Syntax

Parameters

1|2|3 The number of backup FTP servers being modified

(defined/undefined)

backup_ip_add The IP address for backup server

backup_file_path If present, specifies the file path on the backup server

where the files should be written.

hours The time interval in hours between backups; range is 1 to

8064 hours.

user_name The user name that the switch uses to establish the FTP

connection to the backup server

user_password The user password that the switch uses to establish the FTP

connection to the backup server

Default

Defaults to 5 hours, if the interval is omitted.
